چکیده

A higher order nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE) with thirdand fourth-order dispersions, cubic-quintic nonlinearities, self steepening, and self-frequency shift effects is considered. This model describes the propagation of femtosecond light pulses in optical fibers. It is to be noted that soliton pulses are used as the information carriers (elementary "bits") to transmit digital signals over long distances. The complex envelope function ansatz of Li et al. [5] is adopted to investigate general analytic solitary wave solutions and derive explicit bright and dark solitons for the considered model. Importantly, new analytical dark and bright wave solutions expressed in terms of the model coefficients are found. These exact solutions are useful to understand the mechanism of the complicated nonlinear physical phenomena which are related to wave propagation in a higher-order nonlinear and dispersive Schrödinger system.

Solitary and Self-similar Solutions of Two-component System of Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations

Conventionally, to learn wave collapse and optical turbulence, one must study finite-time blow-up solutions of one-component self-focusing nonlinear Schrödinger equations (NLSE). Here we consider simultaneous blow-up solutions of two-component system of self-focusing NLSE. By studying the associated self-similar solutions, we prove two components of solutions blow up at the same time. These sel...

Ultra- Relativistic Solitons with Opposing Behaviors in Photon Gas Plasma

We have studied the formation of relativistic solitary waves due to nonlinearinteraction of strong electromagnetic wave with the plasma wave. Here, our plasma isrelativistic both in temperature and in streaming speed. A set of equations consisting ofscalar and vector potentials together with a third order equation for the enthalpy inphoton gas plasma is obtained analytic...

Complexition and solitary wave solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional dispersive long wave equations

In this paper, the coupled dispersive (2+1)-dimensional long wave equation is studied. The traveling wave hypothesis yields complexiton solutions. Subsequently, the wave equation is studied with power law nonlinearity where the ansatz method is applied to yield solitary wave solutions. The constraint conditions for the existence of solitons naturally fall out of the derivation of the soliton so...

Solitary waves in the nonlinear Dirac equation with arbitrary nonlinearity.

We consider the nonlinear Dirac equations (NLDE's) in 1+1 dimension with scalar-scalar self interaction g{2}/k+1(ΨΨ){k+1} , as well as a vector-vector self interaction g{2}/k+1(Ψγ{μ}ΨΨγ{μ}Ψ){1/2(k+1)} . We find the exact analytic form for solitary waves for arbitrary k and find that they are a generalization of the exact solutions for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE) and reduce to thes...
